Frontier Rustic Designs is a family-owned business in Norris, Montana specializing in crafting custom-built greenhouses since 2003.
As the new full-time owners, the Esh family came to Alinea Collective in 2021 to support rebranding and reimagining their customer experience, with a specific focus on their digital strategy.
As a luxury brand that creates such beautiful outdoor greenhouses, we wanted FRD's entire marketing presence to reflect the serenity, quality, and service they provide to their customers. They already had a thriving social media community that eagerly awaited any post showing off a new greenhouse project, and a solid word-of-mouth reputation that backed the quality of structures they provided, but their website felt outdated and their customer experience journey clunky — it would often take numerous emails and phone calls with one new client to clarify the specifics to send them a proposal.
Alinea Collective helped build a new, beautifully designed website that streamlined their customer journey. In addition, we developed a new brand identity, crafted new brand messaging, and created printed lookbooks and branded apparel.

Over a year after their launch, they reached out to us with this message:
“Hey! Just had to let you know (yet again) that clients have been loving our website so much. Finally figured out how to link schedulers and all that to the automated emails and whatnot, and had THE MOST SEAMLESS EXPERIENCE today. The client scheduled a Discovery call after checking out our website for several months, knew exactly what she wanted, how to build her site pad, ALL the things. Took 15 minutes to do the entire call and send her a proposal. And she's dropping off a check tomorrow. After supporting the FRD team with a rebranding design, we dove into their customer journey and mapped out a process that included creating an online submission form, digital lookbook, and automated emails as part of their website strategy.
The goal for their new site was to streamline the lead process by allowing customers to pre-select their greenhouse designs and self-educate by giving them more information up front in a digestible way.

Had a brand new website that transformed their business operations.
A huge win was creating built-in software systems that let them easily get online orders straight from the website.
Found their customers had clarity on the options and booked faster.
Enhancing the client experience resulted in their customers knowing exactly what they wanted. We set up a whole website structure from the back end to the front end to do this.
Had a clear marketing funnel.
We were able to take their touchpoints from social media (literally millions of views on some of their Reels) to a more engaging experience on the website that resulted in more people submitting their inquiry form, downloading the digital lookbook, and/or booking a call.
Changed their onboarding process from taking several days to 15 minutes.
The process for online onboarding would easily take a few days (due to waiting for responses to emails, etc.). It is now common for a "30-minute discovery call" to only last 15 minutes.
Reduced admin and busywork time.
Especially for MaryBeth, instead of spending days going back and forth answering emails, she now has that off her plate to spend on other important tasks and it even opened up more time to spend with her family as a mom.

“Someone from hours away who has never seen a greenhouse in person can simply browse our website, find our lookbook with detailed information on every greenhouse we offer, watch videos on Instagram, and have an excellent vision of what their dream greenhouse looks like before even filling out that initial form. After the form has been submitted, an automated email offers info for moving forward and a link to schedule a discovery call to finalize details on their greenhouse and answer any more specific questions they may have.”
